Sheep are slaughtered on week days starting at 7am.
Sheep can arrive on the morning they are to be slaughtered between 7 and 8am.

Clean & dry
Sheep must be clean and dry before slaughtering and clipped out if required.
Producers have a legal obligation to deliver clean animals for slaughter.
Each consignment of sheep must have a movement licence/ food chain information. Ear tag numbers must be listed on the licence.
From 1sr April 2014 all sheep/goat licences are handled through South Western www.arams.co.uk
On arrival our staff will be on hand to unload your sheep, check licences/ food chain information. (Please fill in all information required on the licence)
All lambs born in 2014 must have electronic ear tags.
Sheep sent for slaughter after 30th June in the year following the lambing season should be identified with double tags.
Wash- out facilities are available.(Charges apply)
Carcases can be butchered on site or transferred to a local butcher.
