Cattle must have a passport (which has been correctly filled in), two corresponding ear tags and Food Chain Information completed before unloading on site for slaughter.
All cattle must be under 72 months.
Livestock producers have a legal obligation to deliver clean animals for slaughter.
Cattle must be free from faecal contamination. Cattle may be clipped to remove contamination.
On arrival our staff will be on hand to unload your livestock and check passports and food chain information.
Wagon/trailer Wash-out facilities are available.(Charges apply)
Carcases of cattle over 30 months must have the Vertebral Column removed before they can be transported off site or transferred to a boning plant licensed to remove Vertebral Column.
In case of bringing casualty cattle contact us first and complete casualty food chain information.
We kill cattle on Monday & Wednesday afternoon here in Yorkshire. Cattle must be booked in the day before.
The carcase can be transferred to a local butcher of your choice or butchered on site.
